Dyeing Eggs

Oh, the lessons we learn. Sometimes they are painful. Dyeing Easter eggs with 18 month old triplets is not for the faint of spirit. We have a blue stain on our kitchen floor that will forever remind us of our precious children dyeing their first Easter eggs.

Lucia liked to squeeze her eggs so the dye really soaked through the entire egg.
Mazie did a pretty good job with her eggs.
Elliott really enjoyed seeing how the dye colored his skin.

Lessons learned:
1. One towel is not enough coverage for three children.
2. Outside might be a better place to dye eggs.
3. Don't drop the dye tablets on the floor...
