Tuesday morning H's grandfather passed away. Grandaddy is at the top of the list of exceptional men we've been blessed to know. One of the remarks made about him at his memorial service that keeps playing in my mind is that Grandaddy was such a wonderful balance of strength and gentleness. I pray our son will acquire this same balance as he grows into a man; I pray the important men in our children's lives will also exhibit this balance.Grandaddy was certainly a man we all could look up to. We miss him and look forward to being with him again.
